Gracing her second Vogue cover in just two months, this time, Rihanna is getting a little more personal. The singer sat down to talk about her upcoming tour, why it took almost two years to release “Anti,” that Beyonce feud, and her biggest regret in life.
“I am probably going to have like four days of tour rehearsal in total, which is Freaking. Me. Out,” the singer admitted when asked about her upcoming world tour. The tour which kicked off this week in Jacksonville is making Rihanna’s schedule more hectic than usual, meaning any hope for a relationship will have to be put on the backburner. “It’s definitely going to be a challenge when I do decide to pursue a relationship…but I have hope!”
When talking about her newly released album, Rih admits “Anti” might not be her best selling album, but she’s ok with that. “I just gravitated toward the songs that were honest to where I am now,” she said of her process. “It might not be some automatic record that will be Top 40. But I felt like I earned the right to do that now.”
The same week Rihanna finally blessed everyone with “Anti,” Beyonce dropped her politically charged single and music video “Formation,” and immediately headlines claiming Beyonce was trying to steal Rihanna’s shine hit the internet. But Rih insists the feud stories are just that, stories. “Here’s the deal, they just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.”

Even though the singer has no regrets about her music, there is one iconic moment she does regret. Remember that completely sheer Swarovski crystal dress she wore to the 2014 CFDA awards, she thought the dress could have looked better. “I just liked it better without the lines underneath. Could you imagine the CFDA dress with a bra? I would slice my throat. I already wanted to, for wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled. That’s the only regret I have in life.”
