Meek Mill Appeals House Arrest and Concert Ban

Meek Mill
Philly rapper Meek Mill is already one week into his court-ordered house arrest, and he is already appealing. He isn’t stressing about the house arrest; it’s the concert ban that he is objecting to.
Meek is appealing the ban on the grounds that he is broke and the ban violates the most sacred rights of American citizenship: the ability to support himself financially.
Meek is especially feeling the pinch because his girlfriend, rap tycoon Nicki Minaj, has reportedly cut off her financial support.

Last month, rap mogul 50 Cent expressed a similar grievance against the debt-repayment proposal drawn up by the bankruptcy trustee that violates the U.S. Constitution which says a man cannot be an indentured slave to repay a debt.
Gossip Cop — One week into the home confinement, Mill is seeking to have the terms changed so he can still record and perform music. The star wants permission to create new songs at his home studio that he can then release. Ostensibly, he’d like to then promote that music with performances.
In the appeal, Mill does not take issue with the house arrest itself, but the prohibition on working, according to TMZ. The performer is still able to use social media, and has been updating his Instagram account. Over the last week, he’s posted messages ripping Donald Trump and mourning Bankroll Fresh, who, as Gossip Cop reported, was killed in a shooting on Friday.
