It’s been a good week for Drake: just yesterday he scored his second No. 1 single thanks to his guest appearance on Rihanna’s “Work,” and earlier on Sunday (Feb. 21), he saw his “Started From The Bottom” hit used in The Simpsons — a true marker of cultural relevance if there ever was one.
Titled “Gal of Constant Sorrow,” the episode centers around Bart and his new roommate, a homeless woman he rents out his closet to for $1 per day. Upon realizing the gravity of his new money making scheme, Bart immediately goes on a shopping spree at the 98 cents discount store (à la Drake, OB and Ryan in the “Started” video) as Drizzy’s rags-to-riches anthem plays in the background.
Say Matt Groening, we’re still waiting for Aubrey’s proper cameo in The Simpsons, though.

This isn’t the only Drake x The Simpsons crossover moment; remember when Drizzy and Future got their mixtape title from Ernest Baker Jasper Beardly?
