Photo of Mom 'Breastercising' Causes an Internet Riot

We all know that nobody multitasks better than a mom. So what's a mom to do when she needs to squeeze in a workout but baby needs to nurse? Breastercise, of course. You read that right: breastercise.
Enter Internet sensation of the day "fitness mom" Sharny Kieser. She's drawing a lot of heat for a picture her husband, Julien, posted of her on Facebook that shows the mom of six breastfeeding her baby while doing lunges—a move he hashtagged "#breastercising."
Julien writes in his caption, "I caught Sharny multitasking today. In public. ‪#‎breastercising‬... I don't get the whole breastfeeding in public problem. It's not disgusting at all."
But based on the comments, many of the Facebook community disagrees. While most people don't seem to have an issue with public breastfeeding, they seem to be up in arms with the fact that Sharny is doing two things at once when she should be paying undivided attention to her baby instead.
One commenter writes, "Really! Breastfeeding while exercising? ... Don't have an issue with breastfeeding at all, I think it's wonderful, but for the little time you have them as tiny tots could you cut the multitasking crap for 10 [minutes] and enjoy the one on one time with your child." The ranter ends by proclaiming "our children deserve us to be completely in the moment with them."
Another shares, "I honestly don't understand why it's necessary to exercise whilst breastfeeding? Is it even comfortable? Can you concentrate on doing the exercise properly?"
The answer? Obviously, you can. See picture above and below.
Sharmy responded to the controversial picture by telling the Daily Mail Australia, "I feed six times a day, I'm not exercising every time and when I do I'm also watching the kids ride around on their scooters and play outside. It's not like I'm running or leg pressing or doing weights, I'm doing squats and lunges as they are the easiest things to do while feeding ... then at night we sit quietly and feed."
Clearly, some moms never shower, eat or work while their children are at home. If they could teach some of us other moms their tricks, we'd love to know.
