The 2014 Made In America Festival kicked off on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, and for the first-time, Downtown Los Angeles. Over in Cali, artists such as Kendrick Lamar and TDE, Hit-Boy with special guest Rich Boy, YG, and DJ Mustard rocked the pack crowd at Grand Park. Iggy Azalea, fresh off performing at the MTV VMAs last weekend, brought her hits such as “Fancy,” “Problem,” and “Black Widow” with a surprise appearance from Rita Ora.
Over in Philly at Benjamin Franklin Parkway, J. Cole had the crowd singing and rapping every song as he opened with the heartfelt tribute to Mike Brown in “Be Free,” closing with “Power Trip.” His Dreamville Records labelmate Bas, Big Daddy Kane, Chromeo, Baauer, and Steve Aoki also hit the stage before Kanye West closed the night off.
