Hollywood’s Proudly Gay Celebs


Jim, who is best known for his role in the TV series, The Big Bang Theory, revealed that he is gay in an interview with the New York Times. In that interview he also stated to be in a 10-year relationship, but did not want to share any more details about it.


Lately we had the honour to watch this handsome actor in amazing TV series The American Horror Story, however, he is probably best known for his roles in Heroes and of course, The Star Tracks. Quinto publicly came out as a gay in October 2011.


Ellen was one of the first celebrities who talked openly about her sexual orientation. She came out in her real life and also on her TV show in 1997. Later on she married Portia De Rossi in 2008, and they are still happily married.


As in his role on the ABC’s hit show Modern Family, where he plays a gay father, Jesse never had any problems with admitting he was gay. He is married to a lawyer Justin Mikita, since July 2013.


Jane is another openly gay celebrity, who does not have any problems discuss this topic. The only problem was her family, she did not tell them about being gay until she was 32 years old, however; when she finally did it her family was extremely supportive.


This famous Glee star does not only play a gay character in this amazing TV show, but is also a proud gay in the real life. He came out on the Chelsea Lately in 2009.


I feel very sorry for all the women who were secretly hopping Adam would marry them some day, when they were watching him performing on American Idol. He did not talk openly about being gay back then, however, in 2009 he spoken honestly about his sexuality for the first time.


In 2004 the New York Daily News and the New York Post, reported that Cynthia Nixon was living with another woman. In 2009, Nixon and Christine Marinoni announced their engagement.


There were loud rumours about Martin being gay long before he actually admitted it in 2010. In this year he announced being a gay by saying: ‘’I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."


Sir Elton John told Rolling Stone magazine he was bisexual in 1976. He then married a woman, but later in 1993, John began a relationship with David Furnish, and they entered a civil partnership in 2005.
