Rihanna Performs “Diamonds” & Receives the ‘Icon Award’ at the American Music Awards

Rihanna received quite the honor at the 2013 American Music Awards, as the first ever Icon Award winner on Sunday night.

The pop star, who has sold 180 million singles and 50 million albums worldwide, was introduced by Bill Maher at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Dressed in all-black, RiRi performed her No. 1 single “Diamonds” before accepting her award from Maher.

In fact, rumor has it that Beyonce had a baby to pressure Jay Z to leave the other women alone. Unfortunately for her, babies rarely keep men from straying.


Now comes word that a Belgium beauty queen is spilling the beans about her experiences with Jay Z. According to the woman, Jay Z spent $8,000 on her. And at no time did he mention Beyonce.

Waka tells gossip website TMZ he is ashamed of himself for disrespecting Oprah in such an offensive manner.

High School Football Star Stabs Gay Lover To Death

A Connecticut high school football captain is behind bars, charged with stabbing his male lover to death.
Bloomfield High School student Tarence Mitchell, 18, stabbed his boyfriend Ronald Taylor Jr., 27, five times with a steak knife after Mitchell decided to break off their relationship.

Fox News reports Taylor arrived at Mitchell’s residence and struck him in the face before the stabbing commenced. But Mitchell initially lied to police and said they were attacked by two men wearing hoodies — a deliberate attempt to portray the domestic violence incident as a hate crime.
