It’s country music’s biggest night, and the ladies of Nashville rose to the occasion.
We cruised the red carpet to find out who wore what — best. From Miranda Lambert’s plunging bright blue number to Carrie Underwood’s sultry sheer ensemble, the star’s showed style, skin, and plenty of sass. Glitz, glam and embellishments were in, ranging from all-out glam options to Taylor Swift’s conservative red A-line number.
Want to know who hit a high note? Read on to find out.
Taylor Swift: The country starlet made a grand entrance when she arrived in a gorgeous red Elie Saab gown. The 23-year-old managed to totally steal the spotlight in her intricately embroidered dress complemented by Jimmy Choos and Lorraine Schwartz jewels that literally took our breath away.
Carrie Underwood: The hostess looked shimmering hot as she graced the red carpet in a stunning gown. Carrie showed up in a glittering nude dress with a sheer skirt that left very little to the imagination, showing enough legs for days. She polished off her overall look with super-teased bangs, brushed out curls, a smoky eye, and nude lips. Can we say perfection?
Miranda Lambert: Va-Va-Vroom! Miranda Lambert looked oh-so-sexy as she showed off her recent weight loss in a plunging, blue sparkly gown. The beaded number complemented perfectly against her skin, and was accompanied by matching blue drop earrings and some major wavy blonde locks.
Kasey Musgraves: Nude is in! Kasey Musgraves arrived in a daring flesh-colored frock featuring a short slip and sheer lining. White flower embellishments popped perfectly against her radiating skin and ombre locks, leading us to say she hit an all-time high note.
Kellie Pickler: She never disappoints, even in a simple and reserved black George Chakra couture gown. The 27-year-old singer couldn’t wait until she hit the show to present her award and debut this pretty number. A little shimmer, an interesting neckline, and Kellie’s short wavy hair rocked all night long.
Colbie Calliat: Short and sweet? We approve! The signer chose a metallic mini featuring a geometric pattern by Nicole Miller. The colors complemented her bronzed bod and golden locks, while adding a playful aroma to the red carpet
Jennifer Nettles: Blush hues can sometimes be demure, but not in Jennifer's case. The songstress took the plunge with a low-cut v-neck option from Naeem Khan. Adding to her the wow factor? A bejeweled bodice and fishtail, tulle skirt.
Shawna Thompson: The Thomson Square singer wore a frock featuring a plunging neckline and ruching in all the right places, highlighting her killer curves and fit figure. The bright blue hue added to our obsession, making her pale skin and peepers pop.
Danielle Bradbery: There was no wasting tears with Danielle Bradbery tonight! The 24-year-old “The Voice” winner wore a beautiful BCBG monochrome colorblock gown with a dose of timeless glamour. Best part about it? You can buy it for yourself at Saks Fifth Avenue for just $298.80. Now that’s a starlet steal!
