Fashion Project Has Us Looking & Feeling Good

In a perfect world, every time we shopped it would be for a good cause. But the sad reality is that rarely, do our shopaholic tendencies make the world a better place.

Yet, a website called Fashion Project is trying to change that by allowing its members to shop and sell used designer women’s clothing and accessories while giving back to a charity of their choice. Actresses such as Jenna Elfman have recently donated items to the site, providing fashionista’s unique access to their one-of-a-kind wardrobe.

In Fashion Project’s first year, the company received over 3,000 donations for over 50 key charities. As the site moved into its second year, the value of Fashion Project’s donations have reached almost half a million dollars.

The designer merchandise offered ranges in prices from as low as $20 for a pair of Michael Michael Kors flats to $4,000 for a unique and pristine Chanel handbag. It’s a pretty good alternative for women like us who love to wear high fashion (and give to charity, of course), but can’t always afford it.
Head over today to FashionProject.com shop the above pieces from Jenna Elfman’s closet and more.
